1979

EGEMAC has been established with the technical cooperation with Siemens Germany in compliance with the joint investment law no.230. EGEMAC has been performing with Licenses with Siemens Germany in the Medium Voltage and Low Voltage market. (from 400V up to 24KV).

1991

EGEMAC has extended its partnership with Siemens over the High Voltage market.

2000

EGEMAC has has signed a license with Pfiffner company from Switzerland for the assembly of the High Voltage measurement transformers 66KV.

2005

EGEMAC has signed a license with Pfiffner company from Switzerland for the assembly of the Medium Voltage instrumental transformers. (12 & 24 KV current and voltage transformers).

2006

EGEMAC has signed a license with Pfiffner company from Switzerland for the assembly of the High & Medium Voltage instrumental transformers. (66KV, 12 & 24 KV current and voltage transformers).

2007

EGEMAC has started a License in the Medium Voltage with Schneider France.

2009

EGEMAC has established a Joint Venture with XD the leading manufacturer of GIS Substations in China to build a factory of 276,000 square meters in order to increase our market share in the local High Voltage substations. The JV company name is XD EGEMAC.

2011

EGEMAC has signed an agreement for the assembly of the SF6 Load Break Switch with a license with the Turkish Company ASD Electric (X-ELKO)..

2015

EGEMAC has signed another license with Siemens for the production of the Medium Voltage Switchgear 12 & 24 KV.

2016

EGEMAC has established a Joint Venture with CHINT the leading manufacturer of Low Voltage Switchboards in China. The Factory is to be set up in 6 th of October and will start production in the beginning of 2017.
